Allen High School Theatre

Senior Directed performances start tomorrow at 6:00 PM in the Black box and continue through Saturday the 28th. Tickets are 5 dollars and that guarantees admission for all shows for that night, so be sure you don’t miss out on some great Theatre!

Also, auditions for our Spring UIL One Act Play will be on February 1st and 2nd at 4:00 PM in the PAC. Those interested in auditioning must sign up for an allotted time outside of Ms. Howell’s room. Please prepare a brief, memorized monologue for the audition. Drama pieces are recommended. Break a Leg!

Thanks to all who helped out with the Gala this past weekend and for your hard work and flexibility with the schedule. We are so proud of Troupe 3105 and their dedication to the department!

Coming up on January 26-28, we have Senior Directed play performances starting at 6:00. Tickets will be $5 and there will be 3 shows a night. (The 5 dollars counts for ALL performances) So, come out and witness some great Theatre directed by Allen High School’s own Senior Thespians!

Hello everyone! As you may know the Allen Theatre students had the privilege to go to this year’s Thespian Convention in Houston, Texas. We had a blast! Our very own Maddie Sosnowski advanced to the National Convention in Indiana for her Solo Monologue Acting Individual Event, she performed this past week! Also, Dominic Pecikonis and Bailey Barrett advanced to the National Conference as well for their Duet Acting! Congrats to them!

On Saturday December 10th, we will be having our Winter Creative Dramatics at Lowery Freshmen Center from 9Am-3PM. Those who are working Creative Dramatics need to be at the Freshman Center by 8AM. See you there!

Hope everyone had a relaxing Thanksgiving Break! Texas Thespian Convention is coming up next week and we are going to have a meeting on Tuesday at 3:45 In Ms. Howell’s room to discuss the final trip itinerary and room assignments for the trip see you there!

Allright everyone! This is the weekend! The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe performances are this weekend! There is a show on Friday night at 7:00 in the Performing Arts Center and 2 shows on Saturday one at 2:00PM and the other at 7:00PM. Tickets for students are $5 and $10 for adults! Come support Allen Theatre!

Also, auditions for Senior Directed Plays are Monday 11-14 and Wednesday 11-16 at 4:00PM in Ms.Howell’s Room (Upper H Hall)

First of all, Theatre Counicl would like to personally thank everyone for their help with Trick or Treat so Kids Can Eat! It was a huge success as we collected a total of 970 Non-Perishable goods! Congratulations! This does count for service hours. See a director for a signature.

Hey guys! This Saturday, October 22nd, our service project Trick or Treat so kids can eat! Please meet in the old band hall (multipurpose room) at 5:00 pm. If you haven’t turned in a travel form for class, you must PRINT ONE OUT AND BRING IT, or BRING A SIGNED NOTE FROM YOUR PARENTS ALLOWING YOU TO PARTICIPATE. Notice the bold print.We cannot let you participate without one of the above mentioned things. Also, if you haven’t payed your dues, be prepared to pay at the door (amount TBD. Will be posted ASAP.)! Don’t forget to dress up for our costume contest as well! It’s going to be a blast! See you all then!
